2) Sin has consequences!!

The Bible states in Romans 6:23:

        "For the wages of sin is death..."

The death that is spoken of here is spiritual death, not merely physical death.  It's an isolation from God, in eternal torment, and it is our unfortunate heritage in our sinful form.
